Chen Ximing, male, born in 1975, master of agricultural popularization, senior researcher, supervisor of postgraduate, the director of coarse cereals office in Maize Research Institute of Shanxi Agricultural University (Shanxi Academy of Agricultural Sciences), the expert of Shanxi public procurement, mainly engages in the field of genetics, breeding and cultivation of coarse cereals and maize, and also holds a post in the Technological Innovation Alliance Council in national “drug homologous food” industry and the Sub-technical Committee for the Minor Coarse Cereals of Shanxi Grain and Oil Standardization Technical Committee.

Overview of Teaching and Research
Engaging in the field of genetics, breeding and cultivation of coarse cereals and maize, he has successively presided over five research projects, such as Shanxi Provincial Youth Foundation Project, Shanxi Provincial Special Project in Scientific and Technological Achievements, Crops Breeding Project of Shanxi Academy of Agricultural Sciences , etc. Besides, he also took part in more than 10 projects, such as Shanxi Provincial Science and Technology Project, Shanxi Provincial Financial Support Projects for Agriculture, Shanxi Academy of Agricultural Sciences’ Breeding and Research Project, etc. In addition, he has published more than 20 papers in academic journals, and won a national patent and a Shanxi Provincial Natural Science Award( Third class).
