Xing Baolong, male, born in 1973, master, researcher, master supervisor. in 1998, he graduated from Southwest Agricultural University with a major in agronomy (tobacco engineering). In 1999, he was assigned to work in the High Latitude Crops Institute, Shanxi Academy of Agricultural Sciences. In 2007, he graduated from Shanxi Agricultural University with a master's degree in agricultural extension. In 2017, he graduated from the 61st training class for young and middle-aged leaders of Shanxi Provincial Party School. He has successively engaged in the variety resources, breeding, cultivation technology research and achievement transformation of corn, millet, potato, soybean and edible beans, etc.

Main Research directions
1. Genetic breeding, cultivation technology research, demonstration and extension of organic dry farming of bean crops.
2. Research and demonstration of standardized cultivation technology of day lily.
Overview of Teaching and Research
He has long been engaged in scientific research on the genetic breeding, cultivation technology research, demonstration and extension of organic dry farming of bean crops. He successively presided over more than 20 projects, including the National Modern Agricultural Industrial Technology System Edible Bean Datong Comprehensive Experimental Station, "Twelfth Five-Year" National Science and Technology Support Program Subproject, key R&D program of Shanxi Province and their key program subproject, achievement promotion project of Shanxi Province, break through key technologies project of Shanxi Province, Shanxi Province financial support for agriculture, breeding project of Shanxi Academy of Agricultural Sciences, key projects of Shanxi Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Shanxi Province "Three Districts" talent support program project, projects of Datong Municipal Bureau of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, etc. Published more than 30 articles in national and provincial academic journals. Obtained 10 national patents. Formulate 3 local standards in Shanxi Province. Won 2 second prizes and 1 third prize of Shanxi Science and Technology Progress Award, 1 first prize and 4 second prizes of Shanxi Agricultural Technology Contracting, 1 second prize and 1 third prize of Datong Science and Technology Progress Award.
