Main Research directions
1. Efficient Utilization of Water and Fertilizer in Farmland and Crop Physiological Ecology
2. Crop high yield and carbon fixation and emission reduction
Overview of Teaching and Research
In teaching, he undertakes the teaching of undergraduate courses such as <Agricultural Ecology>, <Agronomy> and <Agricultural Extension>.
In scientific research, he has been engaged in the research work of efficient utilization of farmland water and fertilizer, high yield of crops, carbon fixation and emission reduction for a long time. A systematic and in-depth study was carried out on practical production and scientific problems such as low water and fertilizer utilization rate, serious loss of gaseous nitrogen and limited crop yield improvement in dryland farmland. At present, he has presided over projects such as the Youth Fund of the Shanxi Provincial Applied Basic Research Program and the launch of doctoral research in talent introduction of Shanxi Agricultural University. He has published more than 10 academic papers in domestic and foreign journals and has been granted a patent. As the reviewer of such journals as Agriculture, Ecosystems & Environment, PloS One, Grassland Science, Chinese Soil and Fertilizer, etc.
